Mustache Alert: Willie Randolph

As you know by now, Willie Randolph has been fired by the Mets. Honestly, I've never really been a fan of Willie. But seeing as how he was sort of the inspiration for this blog, I suppose I need to have a long think about whether Mandatory Mustache will continue. I know it will be tough for the two of you who read this blog, but just give me a little time to let it all sink in.

Mustache Alert: Scott Schoeneweis

I thought I'd fire up the old blog after seeing Scotty Schoeneweis sporting a definite mustache in last Sunday's game with the Braves. Who would have thought he'd be the one to come through? Now, I haven't actually seen many games this season, but I do believe he's the only player currently sporting a mustache. He's probably gotten rid of it already, which would explain the lack of photo evidence on the interwebs (hence the doctored photo), but I'm just going to pretend he still has it.

Schoeneweis' line for last Sunday's game: 1 IP, 1H, 0 ER, 0 K. Count it.
