Not to be outdone by their crosstown rivals, the New York Mets have signed insult comic Don Rickles to a one-game contract. The Queens native will DH for one at bat against the Yankees on June 28.When asked about his new contract and the recent comedic rivalry that has developed between the two clubs, The Merchant of Venom quipped, "If [Billy] Crystal is any sort of man, he'll take an at bat in a game that actually counts."
