Financial Genius Len Dykstra unloads mementos

Looks like Len Dykstra's financial situation doesn't seem to be getting any better. He's currently auctioning off most of the plunder from he pre-stock trading days.

Some of the best stuff:

- Dykstra’s 10-karat World Series ring, symbolic of the Mets’ stunning defeat of the Boston Red Sox. Valued at $20,000, the ring bears the Mets logo, Dykstra’s name and No. 4, and the words “New York Mets, 1986 World Champions, 116 Wins.”

- Dykstra’s replica World Championship trophy, a foot-tall “glorious, glittering prize” inscribed with his name.

- Dykstra’s home run ball that won game three of the 1986 National League Championship Series.

- His 1990, 1994 and 1995 All-Star Game rings.
